Question 5: How did you attract/address your audience?

Our film is aimed at an audience mainly between the ages of 15-21 gender doesn’t really matter for our film as it is suitable for both male and females. We reached our target audience by using mainly teenage characters, which the audience will be able to relate to.

         To find out what our audience would think to the initial idea of our film we created a questionnaire to which we got lots of positive feedback for which 46/49 though our film was a horror/thriller film, because the audeince could tell what genre it is it showed use that we had the right convention of the horror/thriller genre

 and 39/49 people said that they would like to go see it if it was a real film.

We distributed our film though social networking sites such as Facebook and twitter. After finishing our film we created another questionnaire, which 5/8 people said that they enjoyed our film and 5/8 people said that they would like to go see it.

         Other aspects of our film that could appeal to our audience is the fact that our film is set in 2 different time zones this appeals to the younger audience as it makes the film more mysterious in addition to this the teenagers are wearing modern clothing that the teenagers how go to watch the film will be wearing themselves.
